SEMI-PREFABRICATED BUILDING SYSTEMS
The semi-prefabricated system enables fast and simple assembly of the concrete building. Blind frames for doors and windows, junction boxes for electrical installations and other installation penetrations are built into factory-made wall elements with smooth surface treatments.
The characteristics of this system are:
The basic construction of the building from load-bearing transverse and longitudinal walls is performed in a semi-prefabricated system. The walls consist of two concrete walls with a thickness of 5-6 cm, interconnected by lattice supports, with built-in reinforcement of the walls, and a reinforced concrete core (on the construction site) in which all extensions of the reinforcement are realized, as in a monolithic reinforced concrete wall. Blind frames for doors and windows, junction boxes for electrical installations and other installation penetrations are built into factory-made wall elements with smooth surface treatments.
The ceiling construction consists of thin precast reinforced concrete “Fertigteile” panels, subsequently monolithic with additional concreting. The thickness of the Fertigteile panel is 5-6 cm, with built-in reinforcement of the lower zone of the ceiling panel and grid supports. On the construction site, the reinforcement of the overlap of “Fertigteile” panels and the reinforcement of the upper zone is installed, and the ceiling slab is concreted up to its full height. Distribution boxes for electrical installations are installed in “Fertigteile” panels and all necessary openings and penetrations are made.
Prefab stairs are installed in the stairwells of the building. These are reinforced concrete elements that are produced as a straight stair leg with variable dimensions or as a two-leg spiral staircase with standard dimensions. A straight staircase leg is a part of a single-leg, two-leg or three-leg staircase, which serves as the main staircase in residential buildings or in buildings intended for public use, and a two-leg spiral staircase is used for communication within multi-storey apartments and for side staircases in buildings.
Advantages of the system:
- fast and simple installation, without the use of wall and ceiling formwork, and reduced need for support
- reduced amount of reinforcement works during the construction of the building
- installation of blind frames for doors and windows
- installation of distribution boxes for electrical installations and
- performed other installation penetrations
- due to the very smooth treatment of the surface, there is no need for plastering, but only for the final treatment by smoothing and painting
- the inevitable result of the preceding items is considerable financial savings.
The structural system described allows absolute freedom of design, as well as monolithic reinforced concrete constructions.
The installation of prefabricated elements is carried out according to the assembly plans.
Assembly elements are delivered to the construction site by special vehicles. Their installation on the construction site is done with a crane or a truck crane.
The structural system described corresponds to the static treatment of monolithic reinforced concrete structures because it enables the installation of calculated reinforcement in the prefabricated walls of the walls and “Omnia” panels, as well as the high-quality realization of all reinforcement overlaps in the central monolithic core, all in accordance with the valid standards and rules of the profession.
